Leonard Peltier Defense Committee
The Leonard Peltier Defense Committee (LPDC) seeks the immediate release of Leonard Peltier. The LPDC is the center of communication between Leonard Peltier, his supporters, his family, the media, key government officials, and all other relevant individuals and groups. We also coordinate the national and international freedom campaigns through grass roots organizing, legal efforts, and political lobbying. The International Office of the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee will be relocating to Lewisburg,Pennsylvania, where Leonard Peltier is imprisoned. We stay in constant communication with Leonard Peltier to ensure his input on all decisions and to monitor his safety and condition. The LPDC also works in solidarity with those seeking the release of other political prisoners, environmental protections, advocacy for Indigenous and Human Rights, and overall prison reform.
