Institute On Governance (IOG)
The Institute On Governance (IOG) is a non-profit organization with charitable status founded in 1990 to promote effective governance. The Institute works with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals and groups to create new initiatives for this important area. These efforts aim to develop networks across Canada of individuals and organizations willing to share experiences, and interested in strengthening the capacity of Aboriginal peoples and other Canadians to address governance challenges.

Inuvialuit Regional Corporation
The origin of the Inuvialuit Corporate Group, composed of Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) and its subsidiary corporations, began with the signing of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA) on June 5, 1984, between the Government of Canada and the Inuvialuit - Inuit of Canada's Western Arctic. IRC was established with the overall responsibility of managing the affairs of the Settlement as outlined in the IFA. Its mandate is to continually improve the economic, social and cultural well-being of the Inuvialuit through implementation of the IFA and by all other available means.

Ka:nen Our Children Our Future governs approximately 90 off-reserve Aboriginal Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) and the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Programs (CPNP) in Ontario. Ka:nen Our Children Our Future assists in the delivery of cultural relevant programs that improve the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of children aged 0-6 years and their families. Our traditional teachings and cultural ceremonies serve as the foundation of our work with children and families; the freedom to express and practice our cultures and diversities; the knowledge, accomplishments and sense of responsibility that individuals bring to the Ka:nen community. Mission Statement: Acknowledge the gift of our children and their right to a good life. We are committed to the development of healthy children by strengthening families and communities based on a cultural perspective.

Kitikmeot Inuit Association
The objectives of the Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA), under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (NLCA) is to defend, preserve and promote social, cultural and economic benefits to Inuit of the Kitikmeot Region. Under the direction, control and accountability of KIA, both the Kitikmeot Corporation (KC) and the Kitikmeot Economic Development Commission (KEDC) have been delegated the responsibility of promoting economic development in the region.

Labrador Inuit Association
The Labrador Inuit Association, located in Nain, Newfoundland, is responsible for advancing the aboriginal, constitutional, democratic, social and human rights of Labrador Inuit. We are a non-profit corporation which represents approximately 5,300 Inuit and Kablunângajuit of Labrador. Kablunângajuit is the Inuit designation for people of mixed Labrador Inuit and European ancestry. LIA's members live mainly in the Labrador Inuit communities of Nain, Hopedale, Makkovik, Postville and Rigolet, and in the Upper Lake Melville area, which includes Happy Valley-Goose Bay and North West River. LIA was formed in 1973 and incorporated in 1975.

Makivik Corporation was created in 1978 pursuant to the signing of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA). Makivik is the recognized Inuit Party to the
Agreement. Its central mandate is the protection of the integrity of the JBNQA, and focuses on the political, social, and economic development of the Nunavik region.
