Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Center
The Winnipeg Aboriginal Sport Achievement Centre (WASAC) is an initiative designed to provide opportunities for Aboriginal children, youth and adults to participate in sport and recreation activities within a culturally sensitive environment. The WASAC program builds the self-esteem and self-confidence necessary to any person's success in life. More importantly, it is done in an environment that is free of discrimination and other barriers that prevent real participation. It is the springboard for a better tomorrow for many Aboriginal children, youth and adults.
