The Bearclaw Gallery (Edmonton) was established in 1975 by Agnes Bugera, and grew from a small native art and craft shop to a well respected art gallery. A pioneer in the promotion of First Nations artists, the Bearclaw Gallery has made a significant contribution to the development of the awareness of the many different cultures found in Canada.
